Calendars

Multi-Year Calendar
http://personal.ecu.edu/mccartyr/MyCalendar.html
Shows any year from 1852! And in 4 different languages!

Time and Date
http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/
The default settings display a monthly calendar for the year that includes the
phases of the moon. But if you don't like that, you can customize it. Printer-
friendly version are available, and links at the bottom of the main page allow
you to find the duration between two days, add a number of days to a given
date, the date on which you'll be 20,000 days old (and other really important
facts), and a countdown to the new year.

Hunt Calendars
http://www.huntcal.com/
Hunt Calendars allows you to create your own online calendarhttp://www.womensnet.net.free! You decide
whether to make it private (password protected) or public. My favorite feature is
the ability to email reminders to yourself. You can do some minor customizing
of your free calendar and, for a monthly fee, extensive customization is available.

Converters

A Dictionary of Units
http://www.ex.ac.uk/cimt/dictunit/dictunit.htm
This British site covers all the bases, summarizing the majority of the units of
measurement currently in use around the world. Types of measurements are
organized in a table by category. Just click one and you'll go to a conversion
calculator. There's also a summary table of the conversion factors most often
needed.

Online Conversion
http://www.onlineconversion.com
"Convert just about anything to anything else" is the motto for this eminently
useful site. They boast more than 5,000 units and 30,000 conversions. I'll
take their word for the numbers, but you'll certainly find a wealth of excellent
information at the site. Want to know what day of the week you (or someone
else) was born? Just go to "Time," click "Day Born," and plug in the date. If
you want to know what to call the number 1 followed by 45 zeros, Online
Conversion can tell you (it's a quattuordecillion). Even if you don't need to
convert something, it's an interesting site.

FX Converter
http://www.oanda.com/converter/classic
FXConverter is short for Foreign Exchange Currency Converter. This multi-
language converter stays up-to-date with current exchange rates for 164
currencies.

X-Rates
http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html
Need to quickly convert an amount between currencies? Here's the perfect
calculator! If you want more information, that's there, too, including graphing
the history between two currencies. You can also view all currencies for a
certain value. There are even currency photos available on the site.

Cooking Measures and Conversion Calculator
http://www.globalgourmet.com/cgi-bin/hts?convcalc.hts
The Global Gourmet provides this handy set of calculators, which includes U.S.
measurement equivalents, British and U.S. cooking terms, oven temperatures
(British and U.S.), and U.S. to metric tables for volume, weight, and length.

Measuring Units Conversion Tables
http://convert.french-property.co.uk/index.htm
These tables were originally developed by French Property.com for customers
thinking of buying a house in France. They've become so popular that the site
has developed a forum to answer questions about the calculators, which help
you convert between metric and imperial and US measurement systems.
