Here's a list of the sites we turn to for PR help and services:
(Links to other sites will open a new window - just close window to return to this
page!)

MarketingSherpa.com
http://marketingsherpa.com/
A long time favorite, we tend to read the newsletters frm beginning to end, and
then print them for later use. There is so much here that it is mind bogging
on your first visit. There are also a variety of great books, reports, etc for
purchase, but an incredible of material free through their opt-in newsletters
and archives. Sign up for them all and stick this in your Fave file - it's a definite
keeper! Oh - and it's a woman-owned site (probably why it is so totally terif!)

CornerBarPr.com
http://www.cornerbarpr.com
This is a witty, cynical barbed wire humor look at the world of PR. At first
glance, you might be tempted to toss it off as fluffy with no contenthttp://www.womensnet.net.but
remember the old saying "many a truth is said in jest"? There's a lot to learn
here about what works and what doesn't in today's market. Just keep an open
mind and you will have many "ah ha" moments here!

Bill Stoller's Publicity Insider
http://www.publicityinsider.com
A great site with practical, useful information learned from someone that's been
on the front line of news and PR. No fluff, at times even a bit gruff, this is a site
that has a lot to offer, including one of the best free newsletters I have found so
far. Sound advice and a good template for submitting your press release, too!

Clickz.com
http://www.clickz.com/
Clickz.com is part of the Internet.com family of news sites, and provides a
constant stream of current & relevant stats and case studies of marketing
and PR efforts online. A wide variety of free newsletters are available, too,
allowing you to stay in touch with changes in consumer buying trends online
as well as current effectiveness of various types of onlline marketing - without
spending a fortune for the advice!

Wilson Web
http://www.wilsonweb.com/webmarket/
Dr. Ralph Wilson formed Wilson Internet Services at the very beginning of the
commercial Internet in 1995 to help small to medium businesses & learn how
to use the Internet effectively. Today, the site is still one of the best online
resources for marketing and PR advice, whether you are a novice or a pro.

Internet Marketing Terms
http://www.marketingterms.com
Ever feel lost when trying to figure out the difference between CTR & CPC?
Is "beyond the banner" like "over the rainbow" or does it really mean something
in the online ad world? Here's the place to go to bring some clarity to a really
confusing new world of words!

Inc.com
Guides to Marketing
http://www.inc.com/guides/marketing/
One of the best and most comprensive free guides to marketing available online or off!

A
merican Marketing Association
http://www.marketingpower.com
Free to join with tons of resources for members from articles to recommended
services and vendors

The PR Academy
http://www.learnpr.com/
This unique site offers several PR courses, one specifically designed for the
freelancer or entrepreneur. At $197, you might think the tuition is steep buthttp://www.womensnet.net.
it is good enough that it is accredited through Portland State University in
Portland, Ore., so it is not the usual online "class" - this one is the real deal!
