Hi Everyone!

Wow! I can't believe how many copies of our new ebook were dowloaded
over the weekend! If you missed it, Network Marketing Success & Web
2.0, just click on the link for the March 20th newsletter on the bottom of
the page, and you can pick it up along with the other goodies from last
week.

It also generated more reader emails than anything in quite a while - mainly I think because the hype surrounding Web 2.0 has created a lot of skepticism among those of us that may be a little older than the average MySpace or FaceBook user ;-(

And I have to be honest, I put off using any of these various Web 2.0 social networking mediums for a long time - and even now, do not use them to the extent that I probably really should, simply because...well, to be honest, I often let other things get in the way! And that is stupid - because I KNOW, and have proven to myself over and over again that Web 2.0 methods really do work in getting traffic to your business.

How do I know? It's simple! WomensnetOnline was launched with ZERO paid advertising - no Adwords campaign, not one penny spent for Pay Per Click ads not one thin dime spent on press releases or banner ads - and in less than 90 days, it is just short of 900 registered members.

WomensnetOnline is growing at an amazing rate - it's a only a few weeks old and we will break 1,000 registered members this week! The amazing aspect of this community site is that all of the promotion of the site has been entirely through free mediums: social networking

What did I do to get the word out? I 'Dugg' it at Digg, got people to Stumble over it at StumbleUpon, bookmarked it at Delici.us, did my thing at FaceBook and MySpace and all of those other Web 2.0 social networking and bookmarking sites.

And here is the really, really important part - it's all free, doesn't cost anything except a few minutes of your time to manage a few words a couple of times a week and IT WORKS!!

For once, something in the internet marketing world actually lives up to the hype surrounding it!

Yes, you do need to actually register on most of the sites first, but it's a one time process, and there are even free tools to make that faster as well, and you do not want to SPAM the sites by posting links to affiliate pages or traffic exchanges or even just posting links to your own legitimate pages several times a day. You really do want to use these resources RESPONSIBLY...but the point is, you can get a lot of traffic just by doing it the RIGHT WAY!

And do I need to mention (again) the most important part of all of this? These are FREE resources for your business marketing needs!

Do not make the mistake of thinking that because these are free sites that they have no value to you as a business owner - and don't think that only the teens are using them! These are truly important aspects of marketing on the web today so learn all that you can about them and add social bookmarking to your business tools arsenal!

This week I have put together my personal Top Ten Social Bookmarking Sites (based on the results that I have actually gotten from these sites and my favorite FREE tool to take the pain out of posting!

Don't let the kids have all the fun with the Social Networking and Bookmarking phenomenom - it's a medium that has come of 'age' and should be an integral part of your marketing plan, whether your business is online or offline!
