for Submitting Your Amber Grant Application

Of course - there has to be some quasi-legalese before you can submit
your application, so here goes......

The following terms and guidelines are applied to ALL submissions.
There will be no exceptions.

1. You must be a member of WomensNet Online to apply for an Amber Grant. If you have not joined yet, you may do so now.
Don't worry - it's free and it's a great place to be, anyway!

2. Applications must be submitted with true and verifiable information.

3. Grant applications are open to anyone over the age of 18. There are
no restrictions as to type of business, or location.

4. Applications will not be accepted with free email account addresses
(i.e: no Hotmail, Juno, Yahoo, Google etc email accounts).

5. Applicants may be contacted by phone or email to verify application
details, or to request additional information. We cannot be held liable if
we are unable to reach applicant for verification prior to the closing of
the grant period

6. Grant periods vary and the current grant period will be posted on the
home page of the Amber Foundation

7. All applications are discarded after each posted grant period. You
must reapply for each specific grant period, and/or amount as posted.

8. Grants shall be awarded only for the amounts posted for the specific
grant period. While we would love to fund all of the requests that come
in, we simply cannot.

9. No information regarding grant applications will be given to anyone,
other than the panel that selects the final applications for grant awards.
All information submitted is considered confidential and will not be used
for any purpose other than this grant competition. No information,
including email addresses, will be shared with any third parties for any
reason.

10. Grant periods end at 12 midnight EST, the night of the posted date.
Applications that arrive after this time, will be automatically entered in
the next grant competition

11. Please do not contact us for tips on how to get your application to the
top of the stack. We want this to be fair to everyone. Applications are
judged on merit, potential success of the idea, impact of the grant on
the business, etc. Grammar, spelling and "formal" business plans don't
really matter - heart and effort do.

12. Decisions made by the WomensNet.Net selection panel are final.

13. Last but not least - grant recipients will be notified within 14 days after
the posted closing date. Only the winner will be notified prior to the public
announcement via website & newsletters. Also - we will NOT give anyone
a "status" on their grant application. An automated response is sent out
