Lisa is the recipient of the first Amber Grant of 2007and is the owner and creator owner and creator of Sniffy McGee’s Unique Pet Boutique an online “boutique” of fun and functional accessories for the well dressed canine.

“A new addition to our family, a sassy little Boston Terrier, sparked the idea for SniffyMcGees”, says Raehsler, “I wanted to offer high-quality designs in a variety of styles that shoppers can’t commonly find around town or at mass retailers."

  Why go online rather than open mall location? "Building my store online makes it accessible to everyone and with lower business start-up costs than a brick-and-mortar store.”says Lisa.

Lisa plans to “give back” by using part of the $500 Amber Grant to start Sniffy McGee’s own donation program to support non-profit pet-related charity organizations.
