Writing Articles for Website Promotion
Writing articles for website promotion is the

of the most effective forms of online advertising that exists today.
If you haven’t already tried this profoundly effective form
of advertising, it is time that you started writing articles for
website promotion!

First, it is important to know how you will
benefit from writing articles for website promotion. This will
give you the motivation to get started immediately. Several things
happen when you write an article. All articles should include the
all-important ‘author’s
resource box.’ This is really just seven to ten lines at the
bottom of the article that includes information about the author
(you), your website, your expertise, and your business. It provides
a link to your website, and your email address as well, if you want
to include it. This resource box, as well as the quality of the articles,
is vital to your article marketing success!
Now, after you’ve written one article, and you’ve included
that resource box at the bottom, you submit the article to hundreds
of article directories around the Internet. You can do this yourself,
you can purchase software to do this for you, or you can hire a virtual
assistant to do this for you….as long as it gets done, it
really doesn’t matter how you do it.
You should also start collecting a list of ezine publishers who
publish newsletters related to your topic. With their permission,
every time you write an article, you can email it directly to them,
so that they can use it in their publications. They benefit by getting
fresh content for their publications, and you benefit by getting
exposure to their subscribers.
You should also include your article on your website. If you write
just one article each week of the year, by the end of the year, you
will have added fifty-two pages to your website. Search Engines get
really happy when you add content to your website! This helps improve
your ranking in the search engines. You are writing articles for
website promotion after all!
Finally, your site gains popularity as far
as the search engines are concerned as well. Your article is actually
published on the article directory sites – providing an inbound link to your
website. The search engines are even happier now! Your ranking just
went a little higher! Do some math. If you wrote one article per
week, for fifty two weeks, and you distributed that article to only
twenty five article banks, in one year, you would have 1300 inbound
links pointing to your website. But wait…there’s more.
The editors that you send your articles to
may also be publishing your article online, as part of their newsletter – this means
more inbound links, and more exposure. Furthermore, hundreds, if
not thousands of people visit the article directory sites everyday
looking for content for their newsletters and websites – they
will find your articles. The number of inbound links you have coming
to your site, and the amount of exposure you have for your site is
limitless at this point…and all you did was write one article
per week.
Don’t have time (or don’t want
to take the time) to submit by hand? You can use the free submission
option at www.ArticleMarketer.com and have your articles submitted
to 3,000 people and places, or upgrade to a full subscription option
and submit them to 30,000!
If you don’t think you can write your
own articles, hire someone to do it for you through one of the
freelance sites online. The going rate for a 300 word article is
between $5 and $7. It will be the best money that you ever spent,
and if the articles do what they are supposed to do, you will make
that money back ten or twenty times!
